Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist provides advanced-level cardiopulmonary care, including diagnostic testing, treatment, and patient monitoring. They also act as a resource for staff, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure accurate documentation of patient care.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapist program and hold current RRT registration and state licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) and relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP are also required.
