About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for per diem home health visits in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. The position serves adult and geriatric patients throughout Luzerne County.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care.
• Document care management using electronic tablets.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent education and experience.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
