Key Responsibilities

The Covering Obstetrician will provide high-quality, evidence-based care across the full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic services, supporting both inpatient and outpatient clinical needs as scheduled. Key duties include responding to emergencies on campus, assisting with surgical procedures like cesarean deliveries, and participating in safety rounds.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). Applicants are also required to have an active and unrestricted Massachusetts medical license or the ability to obtain one, along with demonstrated clinical excellence and strong teamwork skills.
