This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, engage and support adult consumers in a residential setting (transitional, crisis, and/or supported housing).
- Provide direct care, assisting clients with all activities of daily living, as needed using direction, modeling, and prompting.
- Provide education (appropriate to client), prompting and support to client and/or family designed to resolve crisis, and decrease barriers for more independent living.
- Assist in developing and facilitating service planning to promote further independence and community integration.
Requirements
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation or a related field.
- EXPERIENCE: One year of work with clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness.
- TRAINING: Basic understanding of working with adults with a serious mental illness.
- LICENSURE: Valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
