Key Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and program planning for patients in a critical care setting. They must document services accurately and function under physician orders to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current, valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist and possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence or be completing their Clinical Fellowship Year. A current BLS certification and membership in the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association are also required.
