Key Responsibilities

• Supervises rehabilitation aide and Physical Therapist’s Assistants without conducting performance evaluations.

• May supervise PT or PTA students including conducting performance evaluations following 1 year of work experience.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

• ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS Evaluation and treatment of all patients referred for Physical Therapy, which may include inpatients and outpatients.

• Demonstrates proficient use of hospital required computer programs.

• Takes responsibility for patient’s insurance authorization to ensure financial reimbursement.
