Key Responsibilities
- Supervises rehabilitation aide and Physical Therapist’s Assistants without conducting performance evaluations.
- May supervise PT or PTA students including conducting performance evaluations following 1 year of work experience.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS Evaluation and treatment of all patients referred for Physical Therapy, which may include inpatients and outpatients.
- Demonstrates proficient use of hospital required computer programs.
- Takes responsibility for patient’s insurance authorization to ensure financial reimbursement.
