Requirements

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required with experience in animal welfare and shelter operations preferred.

Must be skilled in animal handling and have general knowledge of a variety of animal species and their health, care, and behavior.

The qualified candidate will be proficient in oral and written communication, computer usage and the use of basic computer programs, with a strong customer service background.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time efficiently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, stressful setting.

Benefits & Compensation

Hourly rate: $17/hr.

Work Schedule

evening hours and one weekend day per week schedule.

Weekend coverage may be required.
