Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist performs floor care therapies, oxygen administration, and assists with airway management including intubation and extubation. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical competency in mechanical ventilation and performing arterial blood gas draws in an acute care setting.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and hold an active RRT Florida license and NBRC certificate. At least one year of hospital experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
