Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation: o Accurately document evaluation results and services provided. o Adhere to hospital and department guidelines for documentation.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: o Participate as a member of both self
  • directed departmental and interdisciplinary patient care teams. o Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to goal setting for routine diagnoses.
  • Clinical Instruction and Training: o Provide clinical instruction to OT and OTA students. o Offer training and education to department and hospital staff.

Requirements

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia.
  • CPR Certification if required by the clinic or practice area. Experience:
  • REQUIRED: New graduate to up to 2 years of work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • PREFERRED: Prior experience in a similar healthcare facility. Education/Training:

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.
