- Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment utilizing clinical guidelines as appropriate
- Complete comprehensive psychosocial evaluations
- Provide clear, comprehensive documentation consistent with professional standards and PATH procedures
- Obtain informed consent and prescribe psychotropic medication as indicated
Requirements
- M. D or D. O from an accredited School of Medicine supplemented by the completion of psychiatry residency training in Psychiatry.
- year experience in provision of psychiatric care, preferably in a community
- based setting.
- Ability to apply medical science and knowledge to the treatment of individuals with psychiatric illness/ intellectual disabilities and/or substance use disorders who are living in the community.
