Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with physician to identify and connect with patients in need of nutrition counseling.
- Evaluates patient and nutrition parameters, identifies goals/outcomes, completes risk assessment.
- Selects appropriate dietary, behavioral, and physical interventions.
- Provides nutrition/lifestyle education and counseling for individuals and groups.
Requirements
- Required: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in nutrition or related field.
- Experience with individual and/or group counseling and education.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in exercise physiology, nutrition, counseling or related fields.
