Key Responsibilities

THE UCC SOCIAL WORKER/THERAPIST FUNCTIONS AS A MEMBER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER COUNSELING CENTER SENIOR STAFF GROUP.

THEY PROVIDE PSYCHOSOCIAL ASSESSMENT, DIAGNOSIS AND BRIEF THERAPY TO UR STUDENTS.

ASSISTS IN COMMUNITY REFERRAL AND MAINTAINING COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS FOR REFERRALS.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides direct individual, couples and group mental health care services to UR students using various short term psychotherapy treatment approaches.

Benefits & Compensation

Hourly rate: $38.75/hr.

Full-time position.

Requirements

A Master's degree in Social Work is required, with a Bachelor's degree in public health or related fields preferred. Three years of full-time clinical experience and experience with diverse college-age populations are preferred, along with required NYS certification and licensure.
