Key Responsibilities
- THE UCC SOCIAL WORKER/THERAPIST FUNCTIONS AS A MEMBER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER COUNSELING CENTER SENIOR STAFF GROUP.
- THEY PROVIDE PSYCHOSOCIAL ASSESSMENT, DIAGNOSIS AND BRIEF THERAPY TO UR STUDENTS.
- ASSISTS IN COMMUNITY REFERRAL AND MAINTAINING COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS FOR REFERRALS.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides direct individual, couples and group mental health care services to UR students using various short term psychotherapy treatment approaches.
