Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Trust Accountable Pharmacist for the Aseptic Unit, ensuring compliance with national Quality Assurance standards and relevant Medicines Act.
Requirements
- Lead, manage and develop all aspects of the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality preparation of complex sterile injectable products.
- Provide expert clinical and technical advice on stability, compatibility, aseptic preparation processes, facilities, and associated risk management.
- Lead on the development and maintenance of the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS), internal audits, and quality improvement activities.
- Serve as the Trust lead for external audits (EL97, EL52), ensuring timely completion of corrective actions and ongoing compliance.
