About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Trust Accountable Pharmacist for the Aseptic Unit, ensuring compliance with national Quality Assurance standards and relevant Medicines Act.

Requirements

Lead, manage and develop all aspects of the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality preparation of complex sterile injectable products.

Provide expert clinical and technical advice on stability, compatibility, aseptic preparation processes, facilities, and associated risk management.

Lead on the development and maintenance of the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS), internal audits, and quality improvement activities.

Serve as the Trust lead for external audits (EL97, EL52), ensuring timely completion of corrective actions and ongoing compliance.

Work Schedule
