Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (FNP, AGNP, or other primary care specialty).
Current Kansas APRN license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC in a primary care specialty area.
Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain) with authorization to prescribe controlled substances.
Credentialing & Compliance
Ability to secure credentialing with third-party payers (e. g., Blue Cross Blue Shield) and the Kansas Medicaid program.

Completion of continuing nursing education (CNE/CME) as required by Kansas licensure and national certification.
Clinical experience in primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care visits, and health education across the lifespan.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and integrated primary care workflows.
