Key Responsibilities

The Staff Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric care to assigned patients and serves as a multidisciplinary treatment team leader.

Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric, neurological, and physical assessments; reviewing diagnostic results; and developing and managing individualized treatment plans.

Requirements

Must possess an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or obtain one prior to the start of employment

Medical degree and completion of an ACGME

approved psychiatry residency or a psychiatry fellowship prior to the start of employment.
