Key Responsibilities

The surgeon will perform the full spectrum of acute care, trauma, and emergency general surgery while managing critically ill patients in the Surgical ICU. Additionally, the role involves active participation in resident education, clinical research, and academic leadership within the UMKC School of Medicine partnership.

Requirements

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. A commitment to high-quality patient care, academic excellence, and multidisciplinary collaboration is required.
