Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Evaluate patients’ functional status and assess their home environments for potential hazards or barriers to independent living.

Identify equipment needs and participate in developing the total plan of care.

Develop individualized treatment programs, establish functional goals, and communicate plans of care to the referring physician and other healthcare professionals.

Teach new skills or retrain patients in daily activities affected by illness or injury, following organizational policies.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills: Active and unencumbered California Occupational Therapist (OT) license.

Valid California driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Minimum of one (1+) year of relevant experience.

Current CPR certification.
