Key Responsibilities

• will practice Perioperative Medicine in efforts to optimize patients before they undergo surgery.

• will work independently utilizing their full scope of practice to evaluate and care for patients with various comorbid conditions undergoing various surgical treatments · The NP is expected to be able to independently evaluate each surgical candidate, order appropriate preoperative testing and devise a medically appropriate plan for the patient’s perioperative encounter.

• will have additional staff support from a Clinic Supervisor, Medical Assistants, Phlebotomists and Schedulers; this comprehensive support system enhances the ability of the clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements
