About the Role
Join Hillsdale Hospital as a Psychiatric Technician – Casual Behavioral Health in United States. Work Schedule Hours will vary based on the needs of the department. This is a 24/7 adult inpatient unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides therapeutic patient care. Has 1
- 1 interaction with all assigned patients.
- Runs groups and maintains accurate documentation.
- Answers the door and phone on the Unit following Unit policies ensuring patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Sixteen college credit hours in the Human Services Field is desired.
- Knowledge of the basic sciences underlying psychiatric care, psychology, sociology or social work is a plus.
- Experience working in the mental health field is preferred.
