Key Responsibilities
- will do Verifies all orders using resources and clinical judgement for proper product, dose and regimen, potential drug-drug interactions/incompatibilities, patient allergies/ADRs and pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics principles Dispenses medications for inpatient and outpatient use in the hospital Supervises pharmacy technicians by adjusting staffing as needed, assigning duties, checking all technician-filled orders/ Pyxis fills, maintaining efficient workflow Provides insight recruitment and hiring process, disciplinary actions and staff evaluations Precepts pharmacy students and residents by developing an active, supportive teaching relationship Minimum Qualifications BS Pharmacy degree, Pharm D preferred Board certified preferred CT Pharmacist license 1+ years Hospital experience required Position Highlights and Benefits Full time 40hrs -- shift and weekend differentials apply Excellent benefits starting day 1 Ministry/Facility Information Saint Francis Hospital is committed to exceeding the expectations of our patients and families by providing world-class service in a progressive, people-centered, compassionate health care environment.
