Key Responsibilities

• Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments as prescribed under the direction of a radiation oncologist and Medical Physicist.

• Accurately enters and maintains patient daily treatment parameters into electronic medical record / record and verify.

• Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patients, self and others.

• Applying principles of patient safety during all aspects of patient care.

Requirements

• Formal Education: Graduate from a 2-year accredited (JRCERT) radiation therapy technology program.

• Work experience: One (1) year or more experience as an RT (T).

• Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: ARRT RT (T) certification required.

• Valid Florida DOH Radiology Technology License.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
