Join Urology America, MSO as a Radiation Therapist in United States. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares treatment room and equipment.
  • Positions patient and adjusts the linear accelerator to concentrate radiation exposure on the tumor cells following the treatment plan developed in conjunction with radiation oncologist.
  • Explains procedure to patient.
  • Delivers accurately the prescribed planned course of radiation therapy.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as required by state Texas board eligible in Radiation Therapy by the American Registry of Radiology Technology.
  • Maintain ARRT certification in radiation therapy with a minimum of documented 24 hours of continuing education.
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
