Requirements

to register as a practitioner psychologist with the HCPC.

Registered with the HCPC Demonstrate an interest in clinical neuropsychology.

General knowledge of acquired brain injury pathology, neuroanatomy, symptoms, characteristics, course of recovery and rehabilitation approaches.

This includes but is not limited to – traumatic brain injury, cerebrovascular disease and understanding the different types of strokes, encephalopathy, hypoxic brain injury, amongst others.
