Respiratory Therapist, South Hospital, PRN

The Registered Respiratory Therapist plans and administers various respiratory therapies, including aerosol, oxygen, and specialty gas therapy, alongside performing airway management and mechanical ventilation duties. This role also involves bronchial hygiene, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, patient education, and collecting arterial blood samples for analysis.

Candidates must possess a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and an active license from the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care, along with required certifications like BLS and ACLS. An Associate degree in Respiratory Care is required, though a Bachelor's degree and one year of critical care experience are preferred, and new graduates are accepted.
