Key Responsibilities

• Independently performs therapeutic interventions on the adult inpatient floors.

• (Excludes: Ventilators, emergency room, critical care areas and pediatrics.

• If under direct supervision, RT apprentice may perform excluded interventions.

Requirements

• time student in an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy that leads to a degree or certificate in Respiratory Care. RT Intern must maintain full

• time status in a Respiratory Therapy program for continued employment. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Work Schedule

• Per Diem position.

• No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
