About the Role

Join Healthforce as a Travel Respiratory Therapist Job in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor patient status, interpret ABGs and ventilator parameters, adjust settings as prescribed, and document findings accurately in the medical record.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapy colleagues; participate in daily rounds and care planning to optimize patient outcomes.

Support NICU and delivery

area care, including assisting with NICU respiratory care needs, setting up BCPAP, and providing neonatal respiratory support as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required; NICU exposure in delivery settings preferred.

At least 2 years of critical care experience, including involvement with deliveries and neonatal respiratory support.

Certifications required: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Ability to manage ventilator and noninvasive support, including setting up and monitoring BCPAP as prescribed.
