About the Role

Join Healthforce as a Travel Respiratory Therapist Job in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient status, interpret ABGs and ventilator parameters, adjust settings as prescribed, and document findings accurately in the medical record.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapy colleagues; participate in daily rounds and care planning to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Support NICU and delivery
  • area care, including assisting with NICU respiratory care needs, setting up BCPAP, and providing neonatal respiratory support as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required; NICU exposure in delivery settings preferred.
  • At least 2 years of critical care experience, including involvement with deliveries and neonatal respiratory support.
  • Certifications required: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Ability to manage ventilator and noninvasive support, including setting up and monitoring BCPAP as prescribed.
