About the Role
Columbia University Irving Medical Center seeks a Nurse Practitioner for inpatient cardiology care focusing on advanced heart failure and heart transplant patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diverse cardiac patient population.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnostics.
- Educate patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Document all encounters in EMR.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- NY State RN and NP licenses.
- NP Board Certification.
- Eligible for ANCC Acute Care certification.
- Eligible for DEA, ACLS, and BLS.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range $130,000 to $165,000 annually.
Work Schedule
- 35 hours per week.
- Flexible shifts including nights and day/night rotations.
