About the Role

Join Cook County as a CHILD & ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST - PSYCHIATRY in United States. Key Responsibilities

· Provides general psychiatric assessments to referred patients and ongoing medication management to these patients.

· Provides assessment of children in terms of psychopathology, development, culture, and family.

Work with each child in context of his/her family unit.

Provide additional clinical service to disorders that span from childhood to adulthood (including mental retardation, ADHD, and mood disorders).

Requirements

Knowledge of all applicable departmental, Cook County, state, and federal regulations regarding patient care.

Knowledge of age

specific and culture

specific differences in the target population, including physiological, psychological, cultural, and developmental differences in each group.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.
