Key Responsibilities

• must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possessthe ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirementsrelative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit’s/area’s/department’s policies and procedures.

• provide care appropriate to the age of the patientsserved on his/her assigned unit.

Requirements

• Maintains current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

• Must obtain and maintain current Handle with Care (HWC) Certification within 90 days of hire. Experience

• Associate’s degree in psychology, education, child development or a healthcare

• related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of experience.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
