About the Role

MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA seeks a full-time Occupational Therapist for home health visits in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The role involves providing rehabilitative care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits in designated geographic areas.
• Evaluate patients’ functional status including muscle function, endurance, coordination, communication, and ADL/IADL.
• Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor performance.
• Develop individualized intervention plans.
• Evaluate home environments for hazards and recommend adaptations.
• Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care.
• Document care accurately using electronic medical records.

Requirements

• Current South Carolina Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum one year recent OT experience.
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
