This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.
About the Role
Join Cook County as a Psychiatrist – Outpatient, On-Call Duties in United States. Key Responsibilities
- Provides general psychiatric assessment to referred patients in the Ambulatory Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic.
- Provides ongoing medication management to these patients.
- Provides direct patient care to medically ill patients in the Ambulatory Outpatient Clinic to ensure safety, evaluate need for further hospitalization, and provide appropriate pharmacotherapy.
- Provides education to patients, students, medical residents and clinic staff regarding mental health screening and treatment within a medical practice.
