At Heart Home Care is seeking a passionate, dedicated Home Health SLP to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.

Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Health Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts (up to $5,000 for childcare) Tuition discounts & reimbursement 401(k) with company match Mileage Reimbursement Generous PTO Access to wellness and discount programs such as Noom, SkinIO (Virtual Skin Cancer Screening), childcare, gym memberships, pet insurance, travel and entertainment discounts and more! *Benefits may vary by employment status Responsibilities As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will: Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations About our Line of Business At At-Heart HomeCare & Hospice, our primary ambition is to bring first-class care to the warmest and most serene environment possible: home.
