Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform all respiratory therapeutic procedures, diagnostic testing and complete related documentation according to department policy, procedure, and protocols.

Provide individualized respiratory care to patients, in a manner that supports their privacy, dignity, and safety.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines (OSHA, DHEC, CLIA, JCAHO) and departmental policies and procedures.

Resolve technical problems and ensure that remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory’s performance specifications.
