Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner assesses, diagnoses, plans, and implements medical care in collaboration with a physician, functioning within the full scope of licensure to coordinate and deliver nursing care. This includes direct patient care, patient/family education, and developing an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care incorporating holistic patient factors.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with a Master's in Nursing and hold necessary NP certifications and California RN licensure, along with BLS certification. A minimum of 5 years of recent relevant experience is typically required, with experience in wound care management and treatment being recommended.
