Key Responsibilities

• You will provide a range of specialized medical services for work-related injuries, examinations, exposures, and emergency care, disability management, and medical review of drug tests.

• Provide physician-level medical services, medically oversee work of other health care professionals and serve as a Medical Review Officer (MRO).

• Provide medical expertise in all areas of occupational medicine, including emergency medical care to Laboratory employees with a wide range of potential medical and surgical problems.

• Provide diagnosis and treatment of occupational illnesses and injuries following OSHA recording and California worker’s compensation requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to secure and maintain a U. S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U. S. citizenship.

• Possess a valid California physician license, or another State’s physician license, with the ability to obtain a California physician license within a reasonable period of time.

• Board certified or eligible with the ability be certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in Occupational Medicine.

• Possess or willingness to complete certification as a Medical Review Officer (MRO), National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Salary: $282K - $360K
