About the Role

Key Responsibilities

In collaboration with the physician, provides/coordinates nursing care to individuals and groups of person’s served.

Assists in the teaching of persons’ served families, and provides milieu management.

Communicates with and educates persons’ served families/significant others in discharge/after care planning needs.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed to practice nursing in the state of Michigan, and while a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred, satisfactory previous clinical experience is required. The role may require professional knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory and involves working an 8-hour shift on the second shift (3pm-11:30pm) including every other weekend.
