About the Role

Join KEEWAYTINOOK OKIMAKANAK as a Speech Language Pathologist in United States. Employment Type: Full-Time Office Location: 730 Syndicate Ave. South Thunder Bay | Thunder Bay, ON P7E1E9, CAN Summary Keewaytinook Okimakanak (KO) is seeking a full-time Speech language Pathologist (SLP), position based out of Thunder Bay, Dryden, or Balmertown serving our KO communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical assessment of speech and language functions of children from birth to age 18
  • Develops and deliver interventions that addresses identified need, including:
  • Administration of diagnostic tests and interpretation of test results
  • Transmission of assessment information to child’s family and others as directed by the family.

Requirements

  • Provides clinical assessment of speech and language functions of children.
  • Work with the communities to identify and evaluate the risks to the programs (clients, staff, and volunteers), and assist the communities to implement measures to control and minimize risks.
  • Develops and delivers interventions that addresses identified needs, including:
  • Administration and interpretation of diagnostic tests results.
