Key Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist delivers advanced respiratory care for acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions, independently managing ventilator settings and performing critical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role involves providing emergency respiratory support, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and educating patients and staff on treatments and equipment.

Requirements

Candidates must graduate from an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program and hold current state licensure, RRT credential, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Preferred experience includes three years in respiratory therapy with demonstrated proficiency in ventilator management and critical care procedures.
