Our Company PharMerica Overview $10,000 Sign- On Bonus PharMerica is hiring a full-time Pharmacist In Charge in Roanoke, VA! Join our closed-door pharmacy team where you’ll work in a non-retail environment, dedicated to meeting the pharmaceutical needs of long-term care and senior living clients.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and direct pharmacy staff in key operational areas including scheduling, purchasing, and clinical responsibilities.

Collaborate with pharmacy management to implement efficient daily operations and quality improvement or cost containment strategies.

Provide clinical and technical support to pharmacy and regional staff, fostering a team-based care model.

Requirements

depth knowledge of pharmacy laws and both federal and state regulations related to long

term care Familiarity with pharmaceutical care practices for long

term care residents Proficiency in computer use, including pharmacy management systems Desired: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Experience in long

term care pharmacy settings Behavioral Competencies: Strong organizational and planning skills High attention to detail and accuracy Goal
