Key Responsibilities

The SUD Counselor provides linkage, resources, and referrals to other community-based services while delivering individual, family, and group counseling to adults with substance use disorders. This role requires maintaining current knowledge of local private and public community programs, their services, and eligibility requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must be Registered or Certified as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor with a state-approved agency, holding a CAC, RADT, or equivalent experience, though a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A valid California driver's license, current automobile insurance, and six months of experience are mandatory, along with proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
