About the Role

Join UF Health as a Clinical Pharmacist – PRN, Variable Shift in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately interprets, profiles and files prescribers’ orders.

Ensures all medications filled, checked and delivered in a timely manner.

Monitors drug therapy for duplicates, contraindications, interactions, incompatibilities, allergies, and dosing errors.

Documents interventions in the electronic health record (EHR) professionally and accurately.

Requirements

set forth per pharmacy policy and procedures.

Defines problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract variables.

Provides medication and disease state education to patients, both face-to-face during the patient’s hospitalization and/or via telephone communication (when necessary).

Work Schedule

Per Diem position.
