About the Role

Join One Brooklyn Health as a Pharmacist – Registered Hospital Role in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Under general supervision and according to hospital policies and the laws of New York State: compounds and dispenses medications and supplies to patients and other professionals.

Interprets and evaluates physician's orders to prepare, calculate and dispense appropriate medication and medication dosage forms.

Communicates with prescribes and nursing personnel according to intervention procedure to clarify or change orders that are unclear, illegible, incomplete or questionable.

Recommends changes in drug therapy when needed.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, required.

Experience: Minimum one (1) year hospital pharmacy experience.

Knowledge and Skills: Ability to communication in English, both verbally and in writing.

Knowledge of computers and word processing skills.
