About the Role

Join Brightli as a SUD Counselor – Kansas City, MO in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Complete intake/screening/assessment process within appropriate time frames as designated by state regulatory/accrediting body/agency standards.

Develop treatment plans for clients in accordance with state regulatory/accrediting body guidelines that demonstrate individualization and evolution based on information gathered from assessment.

Facilitate group counseling, group education, family conferences, and individual sessions focused on resolving problems related to substance use that interfere with the person’s functioning.

Document all services provided in accordance with state regulatory/accrediting body/agency standards.

Requirements

Master’s or bachelor’s degree (non-licensed) in a human services field, and/or certified/credentialed to provide services within scope of practice.

Hold the credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc.

(MCB) or the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board (BSRB).
