Key Responsibilities

The Outpatient Radiology Technologist performs technical procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They operate specialized imaging equipment, manage patient records, and may assist with additional clinical tasks like phlebotomy or EKG procedures.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Radiologic Technology and hold a current ARRT registry. A Virginia state license and AHA BLS-HCP certification are also required for this position.
