The APRN provides direct clinical services for pediatric patients, including assessing, diagnosing, and formulating treatment plans in collaboration with physicians. They also coordinate care with families, document findings in medical records, and participate in staff education and quality improvement projects.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program and possess national certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in pediatrics. Preferred qualifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
