Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Administrative Responsibilities (20hrs/week)
  • ○ Representing the rights of both providers and patients to ensure they are all treated with respect and dignity.
  • ○ Build relationships with providers and stakeholders by establishing strong relationships with physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
  • ○ Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that highlight the practice's unique offerings and advantages.
  • ○ Remote care using audio and visual technology to complete patient examinations, evaluation, assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • ○ Provide an environment in which patients feel comfortable and free from judgment.

Requirements

  • ○ Stay current with licensure and appropriate re-certifications.
  • ○ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
  • ○ Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
  • ○ Certification with American Board of Obesity Medicine recommended but not required.
  • ○ You have an active, unrestricted license to practice in Illinois
  • ○ Minimum of 5 years of in person or remote clinical experience practicing as a physician outside of residency or fellowship training

  • ○ See pediatric patients ages 12+ for metabolic health only, if appropriately licensed and experienced.
  • ○ Ensure your patient panel is open to any individual, regardless of their current health status and comorbidities.

Work Schedule

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling 20 clinical hours/week, 20 administrative hours/week.
  • On-Call: Phone call only, in a rotation every 10 weeks for a week at a time. 24/7/365. First line nurse led call service over nights and weekends
