About the Role

Join CFHW as a Psychiatrist – Urgent Psychiatric Clinic, $100K-$274K in United States. The Psychiatrist or APP for the Urgent Psychiatric Clinic will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients presenting to the urgent psychiatric clinic. This position involves medication management of patients with array of mental health and substance use diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation: Conduct face

face assessments to evaluate a variety of mental health and substance use disorders in individuals of all ages experiencing a crisis.

Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Utilize the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM

5) criteria to diagnose conditions and develop an individualized, prescriptive treatment plan to fit each patient's needs.

Requirements

M. D. or D. O. degree (or international equivalent) with ACGME accredited residency training program in general psychiatry.

Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Colorado.

Must be ABPN board eligible. Boar certification is desired but not required.
