About the Role
Join CFHW as a Psychiatrist – Urgent Psychiatric Clinic, $100K-$274K in United States. The Psychiatrist or APP for the Urgent Psychiatric Clinic will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients presenting to the urgent psychiatric clinic. This position involves medication management of patients with array of mental health and substance use diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation: Conduct face
- face assessments to evaluate a variety of mental health and substance use disorders in individuals of all ages experiencing a crisis.
- Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Utilize the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM
- 5) criteria to diagnose conditions and develop an individualized, prescriptive treatment plan to fit each patient's needs.
Requirements
- M. D. or D. O. degree (or international equivalent) with ACGME accredited residency training program in general psychiatry.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Colorado.
- Must be ABPN board eligible. Boar certification is desired but not required.
