Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor, Part Time

Key Responsibilities

The Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor will ensure spiritual assessment of patients and families, facilitating the development of individualized plans of care to meet identified spiritual needs. This role also involves providing direct spiritual care, serving as a liaison to community chaplains, and offering consultation and education to the interdisciplinary group.

Requirements

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited seminary or school of theology, preferably holding a BD, MDiv, or equivalent theological degree. Experience working with death and dying, individuals, families, and caregivers is required, with hospice experience being preferred.
