Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of residents, including physical examinations, medical histories, and medication reconciliation.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, considering the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses, providing timely interventions and appropriate referrals as needed.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Alabama.
- Board certification required.
- Experience with geriatric population preferred. Experience with providing care in ICU, ER, Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Surgical will be considered.
- Strong assessment, interpersonal and communication skills
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $120K - $125K
- 20 days PTO.
- Malpractice insurance covered.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- No weekends required.
- Day shift only - no nights.
