About the Role

Join University of Iowa as a Clinical Pharmacist – M-F Schedule, Holiday Coverage in United States. The University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center Downtown (MCD) of Pharmacy is seeking a 100%25-time Clinical Pharmacist. The pharmacist in this position carries out the pharmacy practice responsibilities for the Department of Pharmaceutical Care at the Medical Center Downtown.

Responsible for the operation of a Pharmacy that provides a full complement of drug therapy monitoring, drug dispensing and quality control services.

Requirements

Pharm. D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and one year of applicable experience is required. Experience Requirements

Current licensure by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners is required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Desired Qualifications

Health system pharmacy experience is desirable.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.

Night or evening shifts may be required.
